Partner with Us!

For many years, Princetown Church has been praying about developing unique relationships with foreign mission partners, especially local churches. God has opened the door for us to send a small team to build relationships with local Kenyan churches. The team will be ministering in Nairobi and Kisumu to children with disabilities, prisoners, and locals in need. We look forward to being a source of encouragement to those faithfully serving Jesus in Africa.

Mission KENYA

Our Plan

For many years, Princetown Church has been praying about developing unique relationships with foreign mission partners, especially local churches. God has opened the door for us to send a small team to build relationships with local churches in Kenya. The team will be ministering in Nairobi and Kisumu. If possible, we may send a small team to Uganda to support Bossa John and the Master Children Ministry. Our hope for the whole trip is that we can be a source of encouragement to those faithfully serving Jesus in Africa.

our Partner

Brian and Hellen McKeon, along with their nonprofit R3i, help local churches experience mission trips around the world. Brian, Hellen, and their family have been actively attending and involved with Princetown for the past year. The McKeons spent the previous three years in Kenya and have decades of experience connecting with churches there, which is Hellen’s original home. For our trip, the primary receiving church would be New City Nairobi, pastored by Dr. Joe Muutuki, where Brian is an elder.

What to know about the Trip

Who is this trip for…
  • Individuals 18 or older (post High School), or a family traveling with your teen (13 or older)
  • Those looking for an exciting way to challenge themselves and grow in their faith as they experience and serve people from a different culture.

What is the trip?
  • We will spend 18 days in Nairobi and Kisumu, Kenya, leaving on July 24.
  • Part of our time will be spent helping New City Fellowship with their ministry in Nairobi, an international, modern city. The other part of the trip will be serving a more rural church in the western Kenyan town of Kisumu.
  • A small contingent of the group may go to Jinja, Uganda, to support Bossa John and the Master Children Ministry.

What can you expect?
  • Impacting children with disabilities
  • Partnering with the local prison to share the gospel
  • Staying with local families, supporting them, and learning the culture
  • Stretching your faith and pushing your capacities. There will be times in the trip that will require physical and spiritual exertion.
  • An overnight safari with our local guides, supporting and encouraging them.
  • Expecting to see the Lord show Himself, His good works, and ultimately His glory in powerful and life-changing ways throughout this experience.
