Invert 2025

Local Missions Trip // August 6-8th

What is Invert?
Invert is a local missions trip within the Capital Region where our group of RockLife students and youth leaders will venture to various locations and serve groups of people in need. The goal of Invert is to teach our teenagers what it looks like to be the hands and feet of Jesus in a practical way!
Who is Invert for?
Invert is for any of our RockLife Students who are entering the 6th grade through exiting the 12th grade. RockLife Students may invite friends to be a part of this missions trip if they fall into the age ranges listed above!

NOTE: Students going into 5th grade and who are fresh to RockLife will not be allowed to join us for this missions trip. We want to give them a transition time into the Summer to get to know everybody and get comfortable with our group!
When is Invert happening?
Invert 2025 will run from Wednesday early afternoon (8/6) until Friday evening (8/8). Parents will drop off and pick up their student(s) at Princetown Church at a designated time.

On Wednesday evening and Friday evening, our group will open and close our missions trip at a rally with other youth ministries at Grace Fellowship Church in Latham. Our youth leaders will provide transportation there and back on both occasions.

On Thursday and most of the day Friday, our students will do a mix of serving the local community, enjoying time at the church building, and staying over night at Princetown Church with our youth leaders present.
Where will students be sleeping?
Students who are a part of our Invert local missions trip will sleep two nights at our church building with our youth leaders present. See the below dropdown for information on sleeping and showers.
Where will we be serving?
Specific serving locations will be updated on this tab as we establish where we will be serving!
How will sleeping arrangements work?
Just like any overnight event done at our church, students will be separated based on gender. Boys will be on one end of the church with their youth leaders present. Girls will be on the other end of the church with their youth leaders present.

A packing list will be posted here prior to the trip (sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, etc.).
How will showers work?
We will be renting a few portable, private showers for our students to use when we are on campus at Princetown Church.
How much does Invert cost?
There is no set price for the Invert missions trip at this time. Stay tuned for more information!
